"Moral" und "Ethics"

Definitions from an inter-cultural Point of View
Definition of “Moral” and “Ethics”

MORALis not only subject of the SPIRIT OF THE TIMES but can VARY from one country to another significantly. MORALITY for ONE group can be IMMORALITY for an OTHER – CONFLICTS are therefore pre-programmed! Moral codes can be instrumentalised as elements for misuse of power.

Moral is established from the OUTSIDE and often copied mechanically. What was totally forbidden in former times, has become quite normal and accepted today. On a global scale for instance all PHILOSOPHIES OF LIFE have their own CONCEPTS OF MORAL which in the course of time have changed and will also change in the future. Moral erects BORDERS to other people, constricts and leads to BELLIGERENT actions. The inherent danger of moral lies in its UNSCIENTIFIC NATURE and arbitrariness (exposure to influence).

The SCIENCE OF ETHICSis the STUDY OF STANDARD OF CONDUCT AND MORAL JUDGEMENTwith regard to ALL FORMS of LIFE and COMMUNITY.The science of ethics is to be considered in its original meaning as the MOST ESSENTIAL SOCIAL SCIENCE and is to be understood as taught by PLATON, KONFUZIUS, BUDDHA and others. These efforts and profound teachings were directed to generate a KEY OF UNDERSTANDING for the human ethical thinking and acting with reference to a SUPERORDINATED MACROCOSMIC SYSTEM, with the target to convey an understanding for the REPERCUSSIONS based on the LAW OF CAUSE AND EFFECT.  The science of ethics is of decisive significance for the positive quality of GUIDELINES for action for both the INDIVIDUAL and the COMMUNITY (state, polis). Science of ethics, as all other sciences, is subject to the law of EVOLUTION and  therefore – as the most essential guideline to life and behaviour – to be researched and interpreted in CONNECTION with  progress reached in OTHER SCIENCES.

The science of ethics should be the basis for a definition of morals for a certain time and frame. Ethics must lead to a SCIENTIFIC FINDING of  PRINCIPLES of JUSTICE for all MANKIND. The scientific basis has to REFLECT the laws of nature. In EVERY single action the law of cause and effect can be demonstrated, objectivated and used as a guideline. A scientific ethical EVALUATION of AIMS and ACTIONS in a community (nation, state) is the BASIS for PEACE.
